Andrea Brillantes Reacts To Her Bashers: “Shaming a 15 year old is not normal”

In her recent and “last tweet”, the Kapamilya star responded to bashers who criticized her outfit in a photo she took with a member of the local band IV of Spades where some noticed how her bra was peeking.
Among those who graced the stage for the event was IV of Spades, a local indie band which has been the talk of the town due to their retro style. Of course, Andrea Brillantes did not hesitate to grab the opportunity to take a selfie with the group’s frontman, Unique Salonga.

However, what was supposed to be a rewarding and memorable experience for Andrea became somewhat of a nightmare when a fan of the band made a rude remark directed at her on Twitter. Using her self-portrait with Unique, the tweep wrote an unsavory note that read:
“Iha kita na ‘yung baby bra mo.”
Young actress Andrea Brillantes was made to react to her bashers in the social media sites. Andrea took to her inactive Twitter account to address her detractors. She said that she has decided to ignore them as she cannot please everyone.
“Hi, I don’t use twitter anymore and this will be my last tweet. My friend sent me a photo of tweets about my picture unique, it was about my “bra.” I was supposed to say sorry to everyone who felt uncomfortable about it but no, I realized that I shouldn’t be sorry…i mean why should I.”
When Brillantes was asked where she gets the kind of maturity in handling the criticisms, she said working at a young age in the entertainment industry has helped her a lot to become mature.
“Iba po talaga ‘yung nadudulot ng pagiging artista kasi mas magiging matured ka, mas madami kang mapapagdaanan, madaming magrereject sa’yo, madami kang gagawin na ganyan para lang magawa ‘yun,” she continued.
Moreover, the young actress stated that she was not going to apologize for something she shouldn’t be sorry about. In the latter part of her letter, she thanked God as well as her fans who stepped up to defend her from the uncouth remarks thrown at her. Andrea also posted another tweet to assure her supporters that she was fine.
